Emergency Resource File Organization & Final Wishes Planning

Emergency Resource File Organization

Once people move they must update their paperwork with health providers and financial institutions. This is a perfect time to organize files for those who will need to access them in an emergency. Such people could include:

  • Health care medical advocates
  • Those who have financial power of attorney while you are alive
  • Person responsible for planning funeral arrangements and services
  • Executor of the estate

Organization of files can help the persons who will need access to this information as emergencies arise. I can help you organize files based on your particular circumstances.

In addition, I have a fill-in-the-blank Emergency Resource Book that can be completed and shared with your designated support persons.

Final Wishes Planning

Often times we do not want to think about our funeral service. For people who have no immediate family this can be a concern. I have assisted older persons in planning funeral arrangements, or cremation services with local resources.

Sometimes it can be comforting to talk about final wishes with another person and research costs associated with funeral arrangements. Having a plan to follow can be comforting to those responsible for making final arrangements.

I am forever grateful for (Michael’s resources) organizing my life. Important contacts, passwords, wishes, etc., are all in this resource book. It gives peace of mind for me and my family.
